Support us!

At Bastogne Barracks, our teams work every day on the restoration and maintenance of historic vehicles, artillery pieces, and unique military equipment. This meticulous work helps preserve essential witnesses of history and ensures they can be passed on to future generations.

This mission is part of the broader commitment of the War Heritage Institute: safeguarding material and immaterial testimonies of past conflicts, developing exhibitions, educational programmes and many other tools, and making this heritage accessible to the widest possible audience.

By supporting us, you enable our teams to continue this vital work of preservation, remembrance, and transmission… while bringing incredible steel giants back onto their wheels and tracks!

In the works for the coming years:
  • Rimailo Tube Carrier: full restoration;
  • Putilov anti-aircraft gun: complete overhaul;
  • SDKFZ 251/10: general restoration (non-running!);
  • M26 Pershing: full restoration (running!);
  • Sherman engines: project to re-engine our Shermans.
